Back in 2020 I published a series of short stories that included the backstories and histories of the characters within the Fyre & Earth Kingdoms of the Fae Realm. Each of them are named after a song that fits the theme of the story. 

Golden years: This is the story of when everything was peaceful between the two Kingdoms. Characters heavily featured in this story are Ba'al's parents, Aunt, and Uncle.

Kings & Queens: This story follows the rise of Ba'al's parents and Aunt to their respective thrones, and the powerful dynamics between them.

Hurt: Everyone in this story is hurt, or makes someone else hurt in their own way.

Freewill: This is the first story to directly feature Ba'al, and introduces Diana, and Aidan's relationship with him. 

Play with Fire: Ba'al turns dark and starts his life wandering in the Human world once he gets banished from the Fyre Kingdom. This is also the first time Ba'al tapped into the powers of the Ddraichen, without understanding.

Strength to Endure: Ba'al is recruited to enlist guards for his mother with the promise of lifting the ban that prevents him from returning to the Fyre Kingdom.

Changes: Ba'al takes over the Fyre Kingdom and claims the throne.
