It had been months since she’d set foot in her own lair. What began as a short escape had turned into an indulgent exile, time enough for Ardat to replay every mistake, every moan, every betrayal. She was a demoness born of desire and ruin, one who had conquered more hearts and more bodies than she cared to count.
