EldenGrove (God & Goddess Realm of HOS)

This Realm was created a few years ago, it is a place we can all come to   worship the many Goddess’s (Gods Too) we have here in The House of Solomon.   Any   Goddess/God of any Mythology are welcome too, there are some pre-mades  here,  so if you are looking for a role, please ask our Queen/King there. Or  if you  wish to bring a certain Goddess/God to HOS, then again please ask  and we  can help with that.

‘A goddess is a female deity. In  many known cultures, goddesses are  often linked with literal or  metaphorical pregnancy or imagined feminine  roles associated with how  women and girls are perceived or expected to  behave. This includes  themes of spinning, weaving, beauty, love,  sexuality, motherhood,  domesticity, creativity, and fertility  (exemplified by the ancient  mother goddess cult). Many major goddesses  are also associated with  magic, war, strategy, hunting, farming, wisdom,  fate, earth, sky,  power, laws, justice, and more. Some themes, such as  discord or  disease, which are considered negative within their cultural  contexts  also are found associated with some goddesses. There are as  many  differently described and understood goddesses as there are male,   shapeshifting, or neuter gods.

In some faiths, a sacred female  figure holds a central place in  religious prayer and worship. For  example, Shaktism, the worship of the  female force that animates the  world, is one of the three major sects of  Hinduism.

Qetesh:  Qetesh (also Qadesh, Qedesh, Qetesh, Kadesh, Kedesh, Kadeš or  Qades  /ˈkɑːdɛʃ/) was a goddess who was incorporated into the ancient  Egyptian  religion in the late Bronze Age. Her name was likely developed  by the  Egyptians based on the Semitic root Q-D-Š meaning 'holy’ or  'blessed,  attested as a title of El and possibly Athirat and a further   independent deity in texts from Ugarit .

Due to lack of clear  references to Qetesh as a distinct deity in  Ugaritic and other  Syro-Palestinian sources, she is considered an  Egyptian deity  influenced by religion and iconography of Canaan by many  modern  researchers, rather than merely a Canaanite deity adopted by the   Egyptians (examples of which include Reshef and Anat) This  part was written for The Sacred Goddess before we incorporated Gods  into this realm, but the same goes for Gods too, you can make a  character for here, or you can pick a pre-made if you like.
