Princess of Darkness: Halazia Bio.
The world was built on magic. Different mythos believed different things. Sometimes it was immortal beings called Gods who created the world. Sometimes it was a higher power. For the lands of the Seelie and Unseelie, it had been born from an object that had existed since the beginning of time, an object so powerful it had created life itself. It is unknown how the object was created or who had created it, but from it were born the first Fae. Two Fae for everything that had created the world. From the season to light and darkness itself. These fae were responsible for making sure the world continued its existence and was bountiful.
The courts, or kingdoms, divided the land into different areas based on each fae type. Summer, Autumn, Spring, Winter, Day, and Night. While in the beginning everyone was one, soon the Fae of the Winter and Night Court started to deviate from their paths. They were dark and power hungry, they did not obey the rules of each who ruled within their respective Courts. And so the Unseelie and Seelie were born. The Seelie were often kind and viewed as benevolent. They did not mind helping the mortals, though they could still be tricksters. The Seelie saw themselves as the golden children of the object they were created. They wanted to do good, or at least their version of it.
The Unseelie were seen as darker, more malicious, and unkind. They had no issues killing, being self-absorbed, and power hungry. While no fae could ever lie, they would easily shape the truth into what they wanted and dabbled in darker magics. They thrived off the pain they delivered onto others, of committing vile acts and crimes, absorbing whatever magic they could to make themselves stronger. The Unseelie Courts were known for their wild never-ending parties, their kidnapping of mortals, and making them their servants. It was well known within the Mortal Lands to never trust a Fae, even more so an Unseelie.
The current ruler of the lands beyond the Veil that the unseelie lived in was the Unseelie Queen Rayne LeMoan-bhail Sgàil. An ice-cold, ruthless Queen who had been born from the courting of a fae and vampire. She brought new powers and aspects under her rule. While Rayne had a consort and one child from the union, the queen wanted more and wanted to strengthen her bloodline further. So she mixed it with a Queen from another kingdom, Emmeline. Together, the two combined their magic, and Rayne became pregnant and bore a baby girl, the princess of darkness, Halazia.
Halazia grew within the Geamharail Dris Court, inside the Court of Winter, at a very young age, learning the wicked ways of her mother. She developed the same bloodlust and hunger for power she did, but her powers strayed differently due to the blood of Emmeline, her other mother. While her mother could control anything that had to do with winter, Halazia was a daughter of the Night. Her powers controlled darkness, the moon, the stars, the animals and creatures of the night, and more. She was skilled in controlling darkness, making it her cloak and her weapon. She could wipe entire battlefields with a single move of her hand, or she could easily stealth kill with it. Along with her unseelie abilities, she had a small fraction of vampire powers, mostly added strength and speed on top of the unearthly ones she already had. She also had an appetite for blood. While she didn’t need it to survive, she enjoyed the rush it gave her. Like it was a drug.
Halazia trained hard to become the hieress of the Unseelie Kingdom. She trained every day, learned new ways to use her powers, including hand-to-hand combat, knife training, and more. She was the picture-perfect vision of darkness and danger. Everything her mothers would have wanted from her. However, she had one small flaw.
Halazia’s need for power was insatiable. Anytime she discovered something new, she wanted to grasp it and devour it for herself. So when she had been wandering the mortal world, she felt the lingering darkness of the Entity. This feeling made her curious, almost mad. How dare something else have control over what was hers? Her birthright. She wanted to devour the Entity and take control of it. And so Halazia waltzed into the darkness and found herself falling from the sky right into Silent Hill. What she discovered was more than she had ever wanted. She had the free rein to hunt and hurt humans, fight the other “killers”, and find her way to the entity. Her main goal, to claim the darkness for herself and become the Goddess of Silent Hill and the Queen of the Unseelie one day.
